One of our clients (at NVVH) recently had to euthanize their elderly Russian Blue. They had her for many years, ..and now that the initial shock of losing her has worn off, they would like very much to find another Russian Blue as they were delighted with her personality and temperament. They do not want to spend alot of money to purchase a cat, but I can attest to the the fact that they were willing to "go the limit" for vet care for the one they had. They are looking for a pet ...don't care about papers ...and would probably consider an APB (apparent purebred). They presently have a year old female cat, so feel a young female (to be spayed) would have the best chance of being accepted. My guess is they would be willing to consider others, though. If you know of a nice pet Russian Blue that is available would you please contact me at 229-7407 or mail at WAKIKI::SOBEK? Thanks Linda

Look at note #2155. Not an exact match for what these people want but it might work out. Would be nice to see this adult cat go to a home where it could live out it's remaining years in comfort and love. Barbara

Re: .1 Thanks for the suggestion, Barbara. I have printed out that Note and will mention it to these people. I'm guessing they will be reluctant to take a 10 year old ....they had a really tough time losing this one. ...but my TiJai lived to be 20, so, who knows? I agree it would be nice to see #2155 go to a good home..... Linda

Penny Greene, a DEC employee, is a Russian Blue Breeder. I see her at the shows quite often. I will give her your note. You may want to write to her on GLINKA::GREENE. Holly |
