re: .0 > I have a blue point himalayan cat and she is CFA registered. If > she has kittens, how do I get the kittens papers too? A short version of the process: 1. Write to CFA and get the "litter registration" form. (Or ask a breeder; most breeders have copies laying around.) 2. The registered owner of the queen (that is, the person whose name is on the queen's registration) fills out and signs part of the form. 3. The registered owner of the sire also fills out and signs the form. 4. The form is then sent back to CFA, and they send the owner of the queen back one piece of paper per kitten. The kittens are now "litter registered". 5. The person who ends up with the kitten fills out this form, and sends it to CFA, and then CFA sends back papers. Please note that money has to accompany some of these steps. Please also note that the sire also has to be registered before you can register the offspring. Ray | |||||

Also, please note that if your cat's papers indicate that the cat is not to be used for breeding, then you will not be able to register the litter. Jo |
