2098.0. "The Cat Who Came For Christmas" by SAGE::PRIESTLEY (Priestley DTN 264-0128) Wed Dec 28 1988 13:16

I have been searching this file looking for notes about cat books,
and it's taking so long I'm just going to write my own.

Has anyone out there read "The Cat Who Came For Christmas" by I
believe his name is Cleveland Amory? It was in my Christmas stocking
on Sunday morning, and I've been reading it in every spare second
since. It's a riot! My family thinks I'm crazy--I laugh like a maniac
everytime I recognize something that I've gone through with one
of my cats (i.e. getting them into a cage, changing their food,
giving them a pill, leaving them at the vets, bathing them etc...)

If you haven't already, give it a read!

I received this book for Christmas last year and it is hilarious.
I was going to read it over a week, but wound up staying up late
one night to finish it. Fantastic!

It is hilarious! Anyone who has ever pilled a cat will definately
get a chuckle out of that part.
The story is a classic example of being taken over by a cat.

Thanks. I was trying the keywords and search functions and forgot
    about the obvious (directory)

After reading an article in last year's Globe or Parade magazine
I asked for and received "The cat who came for christmas". This
year I noticed its out in paperback. A definite MUST for any cat
lover. Very funny and also informative.

I, too, got it and a few others as stocking stuffers this year.
I was currently reading something else and can't wait to start this
    book next (this weekend!).
