19 other cats and still have a good time! I would certainly
enjoy seeing everyone's cats, but it could be tricky!!
Yeah, where is Candia - It's a little North East of Manchester off
101 East heading toward Deerfield - 26 miles from DEC MK.
It's something I have been thinking about - maybe a good idea,
maybe not. We'll see.. It could be fun - sometimes it's more
fun to have a house party than meet in a chilly eating place.
Let's see what develops...

| I thought the holiday season would be a nice time for a get-together!
I think we should plan something several weeks prior to Christmas,
though. 'Tis the season to go on vacation! I would volunteer my
house, except that I'm 40 minutes south of Shrewsbury and I won't be
moving in until December 9.
E.T. and the other person I spoke with (you know who you are), thanks
for offering (?) your homes! Let me know if you really want to do this
and we can plan...

| Dates could be tricky - I just looked at the old calendar - the
only date that's out is the Dec 17/18- that's the cat show in
Quincy. These dates are good:
Dec. 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 31st. how many can make any or one

| I'd love to join the get-together(s), too. I'm in Nashua, so a
Worcester-area party would be hard for me to do unless it was on a
Saturday or Sunday.
Elaine, if you're serious about having it at your place, that would be
great! It would be a real treat to see your babies in "person" (for
lack of a better word). My first choice is a house party (as opposed
to a restautant), too, although it's more work for the host/hostess.
I'd be glad to help. If we did pot luck it wouldn't be as much of a
burden on you. If it's a night-time event, I have room at my place for
one or two people (or more, depending on how friendly you want to get
:-) who would rather not face a long drive home late at night.

| Wel, Portia has told me that I can attend on any of the previous
mentioned dates, as long as I do not stay out Porty's bedtime, since
Porty likes to be tucked in by her mommy. Portia syas that she
would prefer the party NOT to be on the 31st since Porty is concerned
about her mommy driving on New Years Eve since that is a day that
many intoxicated people tend to be on the road, and Portia does
not want mommy to get hurt.
Speaking for myself, I would gladly contribute to a pot luck for
the people. I am sure that Kate's Pookie will be taking care of
the kitty cat treats. After all, nobody could match Pookie's Pounce
Souffle.

perfect for me since I need to drive from Millville to Burlington, VT
on that day. I'm working on Dec. 10, as I said before, and I'll
be in sunny Florida on the 31st.
A pot luck sounds wonderful. I'll do my best to stir up something.
It might be tough, depending on when all my stuff is moving, but
there's always takeout ;').

| well, Elaine, if you _really_ don't mind, I _may_ bring Cardigan.
I just didn't think it would be fair to Maggie & Milo, because I
wouldn't ever be able to bring them. Maggie despises cats and Milo
doesn't like crowds of people -- I don't know how he'd handle crowds
of cats. If I _do_ arrive with Cardigan, you can be assured that
I will not leave without her [I taken to carrying mace with me to
the vet so that I can force the receptionists and bystanders to
unhand her after I've settled my account.]

P.S. to those cruising bars and placing cats: while my home is not
full of cats, Maggie would suffer _serious_ trauma were I to arrive
home with another cat--I'm not kidding and neither is the vet.
I leave it to your sensitivity and discretion not to ply me with

things wearing fur and small children.

The "Kind Offering" list has wonderful things on it. If anyone
else needs directions or anything, let me know TODAY early. I
plan to work at home tomorrow - the electrician is going to be
working on the outside wiring - give me a call at home if anyone
needs directions or anything. The tree is standing (still standing
after it went up last night - Pashenka climbed right up the middle
of it to the top, sigh.) I don't even want to talk about what the
other did to it. I can hardly wait to put the dangling ornaments
on it - all they had to play with last night were the lights. sigh
It's going to be a fun Christmas - I have plans of going hoarse
from yelling at the crew. I think I will spray the whole tree
with Bitter Apple. Only my oldest 6 have ever seen a Christmas
tree - the others are going wacko wacko - and so am I! They
will be very entertaining at the Party, I think.

I *just* saw the replies re: the party--I've been really busy.
I'd love to make the Sat. (12-10) party, but that's the day we are
tree-trimming and Christmas shopping. My husband's going away
(Col. Springs!!) all next week, so we need the time to finish up.
Have a blast and let us all know how it went!

a great time and met some very nice people and some very nice cats.

| I would like to thank each and every one for a wonderful time!
It was great meeting everyone! I am still in shock that almost
all of my cats STAYED UPSTAIRS and socialized (what I mean is
that there was a cat in almost every lap) !! I really thought
that after the first 3 or 4 people arrived, that they all would
be under the bed! I had a great time - thanks to ALL for a lot
of fun!
Yesterday the kids all asked me where are all those nice people
with those nice warm laps?? How come they didn't come back today???

| Thanks to both Elaine and Donna for two great parties! I enjoyed meeting
the Feline noters who attended them as well as the resident cats.
The food at both parties was so tasty and tempting I'll be waddling into
