Conference misery::feline_v1

    I've got 3; Panther, Eirene and Nikolas. All three have been preparing
    for the big day. Panther and Eirene have been test driving the
    Eureka, and, this being his first Halloween, Nikolas has decided
    to be traditional and is learning to drive the electric broom.

    a really beautiful cat.

              Smitty is ALl BLACK! She is my mom's cat who I found almost
          ten years ago. She was abandoned in Herad Parker State Forrest.
          She was about four weeks old and needed to be fed with an
          eye dropper.  She is now a retired, happy Halloween Cat weighing
          in at close to 17 lbs! ( yes, mom overfeeds her )!

 2 all black cats - Midnight 10 yrs. young and  Lightning who just 
celebrated his 6 month birthday and has "one" white whisker and white tuffs

    Zorro is an all black Maine Coon, who helped me carve a Jack-o-Lantern
    Saturday.

    And add to the list my XT (Extra Trouble) - sister of PC (Personal
    Cat).  She is all black with LONG soft silky fur.  She also helps
    me distribute candy on Halloween, much to the delight of the kids.

    Merlin, my Manx stubtail is black.  Due to an accident, he also
    has one gold and one brown eye, something that's especially interesting
    symbolically.

    Does Sly count? He's black and white, but thinks he's all black.
    He sits in dark corners with his eyes closed, and pretends that
    no one can see him in the shadows.

    Don't know if they qualify, but Bitser is a black tiger (black and
    silver, mostly black) and Bob is black and white.  
    
    The dogs are black also - I think we are in a rut!!

Add our Maxwell to the list; his nickname is 'the acrylic cat' because
his fur is so silky that it doesn't feel real!  He feels just like a 
fake-fur animal, especially while being held in your arms like a baby
(he loves to be on his back like that, most of our cats don't appreciate
it at all).  Just a few wispy white hairs on his chest for that extra
dash of color!

    Now, orange is the color for haloween, of course, since pumpkins
    are orange.
    
    So, I'm making my entry based onthe fact that Elmo is an orange
    cat.  Technically an orange tiger, but mostly orange.  Elmo also
    has as much intelligence as a pumpkin.

    Don't forget Blinky, when he blinks you can't see him.

    Orange counts!  How about black, orange & white ??  Let's see
    I have 5 of those in various shades - Silvee, Malinka, Katenka,
    Victoria, and Lara.
    Plus one orange and white - Pashenka.

    Elegant Khalife from next door is all black part-Siamese and lovely
    sweet Toulumne from next door on the other side is orange.

    away all the ghouls of Halloween.  He's ALL black!
            Chief Kitty, who is black, except for white toes, tail tip.

    Well I guess I have to add mine since Autumn looks like halloween
    and fall and thats how she got her name (black, orange & tan).

    As I read the first few notes I thought, Jasper is orange and he
    counts.  I'm glad someone else beat me at mentioning the other
    halloween color.  Because I love my "spook"!!
    

    I've started calling Tigger "Pumpkin".  He's all orange except for
    the white on his chest.  He's also getting as pig as a pumpkin.
    
    I'm seriosly considering changing his name.  This baby is going
    to be as round as a pumpkin if he keeps eating like he does.

    Rocco also wants to be counted in.  He is PURE black with the most
    incredible yellow eyes.  When he closes his eyes he disappears.
    He wants to be the Sheba cat for Halloween .... looks just like
    him!

    I have one black and one spotted cat-spook!  (Especially when they
    pounce on me early in the morning to get me up to feed them!!)

Well, Samson is long haired, gold-eyed, and jet black....perfect costume
for halloween, don't ya think?  I'd love to take a picture of him, but
all I get is a large furry blob with angry gold eyes..looks like an
alien with heartburn!

    hairs on his chest and lately he has been getting a lot of practice

    Add Tabbatha to the list.  She's COMPLETELY black.  Not a white
    hair on her!  In fact, we got her two weeks before halloween last

    Onyx is all black (what else with a name like that) with a few stray
    white hairs here and there. And BIG,BIG gold eyes. Lately she's
    been posing in the picture window with the pumpkin. What a show

    Add 1 more - EBONY, which now brings the count to 31 totally BLACK 
    cats so far for this note (Sorry, but, I didn't count the Orange, 
    B&W, etc. in this total).  Maybe once everyones responded, someone 
    can take a count of the OFFICIAL NUMBER OF HALLOWEEN KITTIES!

    You can add Black Thunder to the all black list.  She is a long-haired
    all black, with light brown eyes.
    
    DejaVu goes into the orange cat-egorie.  She is 1/2 siamese, black,
    orange & white.  When people come over, she makes *like a ghost
    and disappears*.
    
    I know Black Thunder wants to help give out the candy and to check
    out the costumes but I am keeping her locked up.
    
    Does Lightning count.  She is all white *like a ghost*.

    Another...   Midnight is all black - she only had about 8 white
    hairs on her chest originally, but there are a few more scattered
    on her head now, as she gets older (13).  She has beautiful green
    eyes.
    
    Our youngest cat (of 3) is a pale orange with white booties and
    bib - they make a lovely contrast.

    Pandora is completely black, no white hairs anywhere.  She can appear
    and disappear at will, and has various other magical powers, many
    of which she keeps secret.

    I have two black cats, Cubby (1 1/2 years) and a new baby (5 mos.), 
    who is still nameless. Cubby is actually a brown cat masquerading as a 
    black one. If you part his fur so you can look at it from the roots out, 
    it is a grayish-brown color. The insides of each foreleg are distinctly 
    brown, as are his whiskers. If the sun shines on him against the grain 
    of his fur, he glows brown.

    The new baby, though, is more of a black cat. The roots of his fur are
    darker than Cubby's, but he doesn't show any brown in bright light.

    Both Cubby and the baby have some white hairs mixed in here and there.
    Newbaby's eyes are copper; Cubby's one good eye is green.

    Ninja is pure black longhair.  He is huge (about 17 lbs. -- not
    one ounce of fat!)  He is in charge of our Neighborhood Crime Watch.
     He sits in the window looking fierce, and takes notes on his `scratch
    pad'.  
    
    Ninja IS the DEFINITION of Halloween...
    
    Our other cat's name is PUMPKIN!  How quaint.  She is primed for
    the holiday!!

    Well, my five sealpoint Birmans have decided that they want to "go"
    as black cats for Halloween.  We got them all little black kitty
    "masks" and "leggings".  And since Halloween occurs when it is dark
    outside, I wanted to make sure that everyone would be able to see
    them...I got them all little white gloves to put on so that they
    could show up against the black night.  Laci and Lyscentia just
    can't wait!
    
    Monroe isn't really orange, he is cream.  But he is so FAT (!) that
    he looks like a pumpkin anyway.  We are going to get him to sit
    in the window on Halloween since we haven't gotten a Jack O'Lantern
    yet.

    am
       going to TRICK OR TREAT for M-O-N-E-Y.. I like money.. I will
    accept cash, CD'S,checks, Master Card, Visa, and American Express..
    I am going as a  CEO OF A BIGGGGGGGG BANK......
    AND Happy is going trick or treat too.. she is working the food
    side of things... treats etc.. I gave her my list.. shrimp, loster,
    liver pate,champagne etc...I made us out a map to follow..
    and have even given it a dry run... heh-heh.. and thenof course
    there is also telemarketing.... I think ole chubbos is going
    as CHicquita BANANA.. si ,si... bye meowr...
