1880.0. "PORTRAIT TO VIEW" by MILVAX::HUDSON () Mon Oct 17 1988 09:18

    Well I just picked up my "Cat Portrait" of Taffy on Friday, and
    it is beautiful. Nancy Alexander Newsted is the artist. So if
    anyone is working in the Mill and would like to see it let me know
    and I'll bring it in. I think I'll get her to start another one
    after the holidays. If you read this Nancy the next one would be
    of Autumn, hope your ready to deal with a calico.

1880.5what an honor!MDA::NEWSTEDMon Oct 17 1988 12:1014

      Cindy, I'm glad your happy with the Taffey portrait! It's almost
    a little sad when the client comes to pick up the portrait because
    as I draw the subjects, i feel i get to know them, it almost seems
    as if their little personalities emerge on the paper! As far as
    dealing with a calico, If you remember my "Pippin" -- I deal with
    that calico plenty! This weekend, she had us out till 2:00 A.M.
    hollaring in the woods for her! and she's on the brink of coming
    into heat! I had my fill of Calico this weekend! --- thanks for
    showing the portrait, what an honor!

    for those interested, there is information is note 1766!

    Deb, not sure but it sure might save money in the long run depending
    on how may animals you have. Drop her a line and see if she does.
