1750.0. "Russian Blues: two adult females need homes!" by GLINKA::GREENE (Cat Lady) Thu Sep 08 1988 15:34

Cosette and Fantine are still looking for that special new home!

They are adult, spayed, declawed females who need to stay together
because they sleep together, play together, groom each other, etc.

They are EXCEPTIONALLY GENTLE AND QUIET.

But they need to be the ONLY pets in the house. Although they
both *love* any and all humans, Fantine just cannot adapt to the
other cats in the household. Cosette doesn't seem perturbed, but
I think they should remain together (haven't been separated since
birth, except for getting spayed at different times!).

They would make ideal warm fuzzies for an elderly person, as
they require little care...just a warm lap and a warm bed, and
food and water, of course. I just need to find that elderly
person! BTW, if anyone who might love them is on a fixed income
(or something like that), I will arrange to pay for the annual
exams and shots as long as that would be helpful. These two
cats would also be extremely gentle with children, but I wouldn't
want to place them with any children who might get rough with
them. They are the kind of trusting creatures who won't even
flinch if you pretend you are going to hit them...they sit patiently
and must be thinking "No, silly, over here a few inches, THAT'S
where I am if you are trying to pet me!" Indoor cats ONLY, btw.

1750.1Forgot phone number (Freudian oversight?)GLINKA::GREENECat LadyThu Sep 08 1988 16:178
Well, obviously I am ambivalent about placing them, because
I, um, forgot to include a phone number.

Best way to reach me is email GLINKA::GREENE, but if you
need to phone, please call my home 617-648-9020
(Arlington, MA, near Boston) rather than my office.
