1700.0. "DELIGHTFUL SIAMESE, VENERABLE TABBY" by PBA::ADERER () Thu Aug 25 1988 16:36
DELIGHTFUL SIAMESE,VENERABLE TABBY FOR ADOPTION
We have a two-year-old neutered male purebred (but no papers)
bluepoint Siamese with whom we are loathe to part--and also
an allergic child, who's definitely staying. John J. Fogarty
(Foggy) loves people, laps, and attention; gladly permits
babies to pummel him; is incredibly adaptable to new
environments; stays right around the house when outside;
adapts to litter or outside potty; is friendly to other cats
and dogs; and has no obnoxious habits. He's healthy,
recently vetted, and has up-to-date shots. To a good home,
he's free--and he comes with a starter kit of bowl, litter
pan, cat carrier, and flea collar. This cat is a fine
animal!
We also have a fourteen-year-old neutered male orange tabby,
who's been part of our family for all those years--and whose
allergens we must now part with. Sunny is healthy, recently
vetted, and has up-to-date shots. He tolerates older
children gently, but prefers to be an adult's pet. He does
fine being left alone all day or even for a weekend, but is
glad for a few scratches when you return. He doesn't fight,
sticks close to home, is street smart, uses the litter
faithfully, and has no obnoxious habits. He needs to be
inside in very hot weather or below freezing. He comes with
a starter kit of bowl, litter pan, cat carrier, spare flea
collar, and several weeks' supply of litter and food. In
return for a cozy retirement home, Sunny will provide you
with undemanding companionship.
For more information about either of these fine felines,
contact Alex: DTN 282-1446; (508) 456-8949 (home).

| I know it must be really tough for you to part with these
friends. I too am allergic to cats and dogs but I have
refused to give mine up. There are some things you can
do to keep the alligens at lower levels and minimize
the suffering to the child. If you really have to give
them up I hope you find what they need.
Good Luck,
Ken and Lucky(sorry he's all I can afford!!)
