| Boy, I can tell it has become necessary to wear waterproof make-up
to work EVERY DAY.
It seems lately that we start off the day reading a SAD
feline note first thing in the morning. Being that we are
all cat lovers each note seems to touch our soft feline spot,
and down the tears come.
I am sorry for the people in this note and the one before this.

| Oh, Edd, that's so sad. It's so hard to loose one but that must
be very difficult for your folks to handle. My sympathies go to
you and to your parents...

| There is a special place for animals & people that drown. I know
for sure cause my son is there. Now your Mum and Dad's cat is with
him ......... they're both ok now.

| I have just recently found out how dangerous pools are to small
animals.
One morning I let my dog out and for some reason took a look at
my pool. Boy was I surprised!!!!!
There was a young skunk swimming around trying to get out. I
couldn't just let it drown so I came up with an idea as to how
to get the poor thing out without get to close to it.
I took my skimming net (very long handle) and got it under the skunk
and got it close to the edge of the pool and then flopped it onto
the deck. Of course I didn't get it out on the first try (had to
get the technique of the flip just right).
I don't know how long the poor thing was in there but I am glad
that I saw it when I did.
I'm also glad it wasn't the Daddy skunk. He is HUGE.
