1622.1 | No kill shelter info, in case.. | DRFIX::IVES | | Fri Aug 05 1988 15:46 | 15 |
| NO KILL ANIMAL SHELTER I saw an ad for this on channel 4 after
evening magazine the last two nights. They were asking for voluntees
to help out at the shelter but showed pictures of some of the animals
that were for adoption and pictures of inside the shelter.
The telephone area code was 508 and the next 3 numbers were 745
and I did not get the next 4 numbers. The info I gave you at least
would let you know the area of Mass it's in and the town. Isn't
that the new area code for around Littleton?
This is just for information sake for anyone who needs it.
I hope you find a home for this kitty.

Shelter, which (as .3 mentioned) is in Salem, MA.
Believe it ot not, this shelter is open from 9AM to 9 PM
(or something like that)!
Their phone number is (508) 745-9888.

1622.5 | Sweetheart Seems To Have Found A Home! | SOFBAS::CAISSIE | | Tue Aug 16 1988 10:20 | 10 |
| I'm happy to report that Sweetheart has wormed her/his way into
the shelter of a neighbor's cellar. Apparently one of my neighbor's
cellar windows is missing glass, and Sweetheart found her/his way
in. The neighbors discovered Sweetheart in their cellar, and much
to my surprise, didn't kick her/him out, but are feeding her/him.
The outline of Sweetheart's ribs are no longer visible, and Sweetheart,
when I saw her lounging on a cellar windowsill this morning, looks
happy, content, well-fed, and confident in that way that only a
cat can look.
