My almost-three-years-old male Maine Coon, Copy, has been spending a
lot of time moping around, staring out windows, etc, lately. Some to this
may be due to the heat, but I think he's kinda bored, too. From what
I've read in this file, two cats are better than one, if you have to leave
the cat alone a lot. So, I'm considering getting a pal for him (not a mate,
he's been neutered).
I'd like to get a 1 to 2 year old female, not necessarily a purebred,
but hopefully with Coon characteristics. She should be spayed, healthy,
active, and affectionate. I'd like to canvas the feline Notesfile readers
before going to my local shelters. I'd like to get her sometime after August
8 so I don't leave her alone during my vacation. - Chris
