Has anyone had good/bad experiences treating their cats for mites with
a medicine called 'Ivermectin'? Any info is much appreciated.
Thanks
Joe

Ivermectin (sp.?) was first used as injection wormer for horses/cattle.
Too many horses had adverse reactions to the injection both at
the site and in general. It was withdrawn from the market - until
it became available in as a paste dewormer. It is very effective
against all types of internal parasites (at least in large animals)
but I have never heard of it for use for mites or external parasites.
