1492.0. "I DESPERATLEY NEED A HOME!" by HARBOR::RYAN () Mon Jun 27 1988 09:34

    HELP!

I need to find a home for the below cat and fast. I have moved
back home with my folks and the cat has "adopted" my family. She's
living on our porch and we finally broke in an fed her. I have
read the papers trying to find her owner, I have checked the
neighborhood for anyone who may have lost a cat. Noone is looking
for this cat. I fear she was "dumped."

The cat is a female, she looks to be about 2-3 years old. She's
gray, black and white. I think she's a tabby. Her nature is VERY
friendly. She loves my 4 year old neice and she's a terror. She
seems like a very nice, family cat. She's located in Ayer.

The problem is: I can't keep feeding her and letting her stay on
the porch it isn't fair. I already have 1 cat and my folks were
reluctant with that one. Which I can understand, the responsibilty
falls on them if I'm not there.

SHE CLIMBED UP ON MY PARENTS BRAND NEW CAR BECAUSE THE ENGINE WAS
WARM AND SLID DOWN THE SIDE OF IT WITH HER CLAWS OUT. THERE IS
A REALLY "NICE" SCRATCH RIGHT DOWN THE SIDE OF THE CAR. AND IT'S
CLEARLY FROM THE KITTY. I CAUGHT HER UP THERE AND SHE SLID DOWN
WHEN SHE SAW ME. NEEDLESS TO SAY THE FOLKS ARE REALLY UPSET NOW
AND IF I DON'T FIND A HOME FOR HER SOON I THINK PATIENTS WILL MORE
    THAN WEAR THIN.

Please, if you know of anyone who would like this cat, they are
welcome to her. I've exhausted myself trying to find her a home
and if I don't find one soon I'll have to send her to a shelter
and I don't want to do that.
