| Yes, I purchased one about six months ago and the cats love it.
The only problem I found with it was that Argus (and only Argus)
would actually rip it off the wall just to get at the catnip, so
I wound up screwing it into the wall. All seven of my little angels
love it, and I'm really shocked at the at the fur that it gathers
(I have to clean it out once a day).

I have seen advertisements for Cat-a-Comb in Cat Fancy and Cats
magazine. Not sure about cost, though.

| The Nashua (NH) Sunday Telegraph comes with a "USA Today" magazine
supplement (sort of like "Parade"). The Cat-a-Comb ad/order form
has been in there the past couple of weeks.
Sorry, UKers, I don't know about overseas availability...

| I made my own. I had left over velcro and place the hook part
on corners, and sprayed with catnip spray.

| Velcro is a self close sticky stuff-I buy it at fabric shops.
It has two sides -one is a loop the other kind of a loss fiber mat.
When you place them together the loops catch the fiber and the
stuff holds. It won't take a lot of pressure to tear it apart.
It is used in the U.S. for pocket closures of sportswear a lot.
The hook side is rough and catches anything it touches.
I just put the hook side up on the corner with some glue.
Catnip spray is avaiable in the U.S. in pet stores and grocery
stores.

Oh I see so you don't use a brush or comb you just let the cat rub
up against the velcro??? - is that right???
