LONG-HAIRED BLACK KITTEN FOR ADOPTION
WE HAVE HAD A NEW KITTEN FOR ABOUT 6 WEEKS. THE PROBLEM IS
OUR OLDER CAT SIMPLY DOES NOT GET ALONG WITH HER AT ALL.
UNFORTUNATELY, THAT'S THE REASON SHE HAS TO GO. SHE'S
LONG-HAIRED AND SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL.

Diane, I agree with Suzanne, give it more time. My 13-year-old male Siamese took nine month to adjust to our new kitten. This was in spite of the general wisdom that the attachment is quicker if they are opposite sexes and the same color. He is a lilac point and she is a blue point with four white feet. She fell in love with him immediately and pursued him endlessly -- he just hid in the basement for two months. What a struggle. Now they are BEST buddies. His spirits have really improved. But, I am not willing to easily put him through this again. I hope to breed Lily, since I need three little kittens this fall. This is hard on me, as every time I read about a gray kitten with white feet, or an all black kitten, I want to immediately bring it home. Best of luck to you. Julie | |||||

Kitten has a new home - with White Lightning, DejaVu, Lynda and
me. She definitely is gorgeous. I am putting in a separate note

I'm sorry things didn't work out for you Diane - however Sandi taking
it is great news. All of the kittens from that litter were gorgeous
- I wanted one myself but was already committed to cute little Koko.
Anyway glad it has a happy ending.
