How about Suttonian's Sunshine (Sunni for short) to describe the
little ray of sunshine that's come into your life??

I like the sound of the twenty four carat gold one...sounds very
important - also Goldie will suit the colouring
Apart from that I am terrible at thinking of new names...sorry

1431.4 | Starfire versus Starfyre | AIMHI::OFFEN | | Mon Jun 06 1988 13:37 | 9 |
| Of course I'm partial to Starfire because we already have a StarFYRE
in the house. Congratulations on the new Baby.

P.S. How's Cleocatra doing????

| I wish I could have another kitty. After getting a look at all
the Ragdolls and Birmans at the Springfield cat show, I wanted one
of each! Of course when I brought this up to Dana, he said "if
I let you have 3 cats, you'll want 7 more; two is enough."
I like the Michaelana (sp?) best. A Persian should have a Regal
sounding name; after all, they are very beautiful cats!
Congratulations, Holly! It was nice meeting you on Saturday.

| My vote for Star. Of course when you get her home you may find
her character prompts you to call her something else:-)
Have fun

1431.7 | Whimsy & topical all at once | CIVIC::JOHNSTON | I _earned_ that touch of grey! | Tue Jun 07 1988 09:10 | 11 |
| Noor, for Queen Noor al Hussain of Jordan [OK, so I'm a fan...and
the kitty's a Persian, not a Jordanian...]
Noor, I believe, means 'light' hence the reason the queen chose
it upon changing her name. Also, the woman has shaded golden hair
her ownself.
Suttonian's Noor doesn't scan, but Noor al Suttonian would do alright
if that's allowable. 'Light of Suttonian'

1431.8 | here's some more | 58205::HTAYLOR | Have you hugged your kitty today? | Tue Jun 07 1988 11:44 | 15 |
| Ok, we have decided against Starfire (no offense Sandi). Mom really
doesn't like twenty four Karat gold (Don't ask me why). both of
us still like Michaela. Sunshine is too common (sorry). Here are
a few others my mom suggested.
Suttonian's Peanut butter cup. (called peanut)
Suttonian's Lady Sarah. (called Sarah)
The reason she liked Peanutbutter cup is because the cat is brown
and black. I kind of liked that, but can you imagine a year from
now calling the largest cat we have "Peanut"?

| This isn't a name choice but ...
Congrats on the new kitty. You couldn't have picked a better cattery! ;^)
Also, congrats on your acceptance into Central Mass Feline Fanciers. Have you
heard from Mass Colony Cat Club yet?

Re: Naming convention
The cattery name of the breeder precedes the given name. The cattery name, if
one, of the owner/buyer follows the given name.

| Congrats on your new kitty, Holly! I, too, agree on the choice
of cattery. Congrats also on your wins over the weekend.
