    Hi, I'm posting this note for my mother.  Her cat had kittens
    approximately 3 weeks ago.  She is looking to place them.  She
    has placed 1 now there's 3 left, all are females, half siamese
    and half mixed breed house cat.  They are really presious all
    of them are dark charcoal with orange and white spots.  Their
    eyes are blue and they definately have the siamese voice.
    They are located in Tewksbury, Mass.

	Kittens generally should stay with their mother for about six weeks minimum. I would wait to place the rest of them until then, so that they are properly reared (and trained for the litter box) by their mother. I don't think you'll have trouble placing them if they are less than 6 months old, so don't be in too much of a hurry. I'm in California, and i can't have kitties-which breaks my heart, but i wish you the best of Luck! sabonn

	The only reason I posted the note early is because my mom already has 5 cats and she wants to place these kittens as soon as possible. I realize that they wont be ready for another 3 weeks or so, but it's not too soon to start looking for homes for them. I just want to make sure they get the best homes they can get. I do so much wish I could take one. Liz

	You bet she is. I think my mom would faint if she had anymore kittens. Does anyone out there know how long before we can take her to have her spayed? I want to make sure the kittens are old enough to be able to handle mom not being there for a couple of days. Liz

	The kittens should be completely weaned, then you can take her in. This is what we did when we adopted the pregnant, neighborhood stray. D.

	Some vets have specific rules - give yours a call and see how long they require - momma kitty may need a couple of weeks of recevery time after kittens go before undergoing surgery. Your Vet will know.
