| Where are you located? Our Humane Society just had a litter of
kittens born last Friday, and they will be ready for adoption
in about 8 weeks (from last Friday). We also have another pregnant
female who will give birth real soon too. I'll find out
what these babies look like and what sex they are.
Would you be interested in an older kitten or even a cat
approximately the same age as your current cat?

| Why a kitten? It might work better to get another cat...
Please, try the humane societies...

| In response to the first reply ( and second ) I am located in Wilton
N.H. Where is the humane society with the kittens you were referring
to?
We would like a kitten so that Yaddie ( our first cat ) will be
able to establish her superiority right away and there wont be
too much spite. Also I wouldn't pass up the joy a kitten would
bring, I like to raise my animals from babies, I think you gain
more trust that way. We would like a short hair because Yaddie
is long haired and we want one-of -each!
thank you for the replies... I know there are grown cats that
need good homes, I wish there was something i could do but at
least I know that if we do have another kitten, we will have him/
her spayed/neutered so that we won't add to the problem.
thanks
Nancy

Superiority? HA HA! That's what I thought too! But my once meek
kitten now gets her way by sitting on my older cat, sometimes just
to prove she's got one up on her.

| The shelter I was referring to is in Framingham, MA. I am sure
there is a shelter closer to you. Kitten season will soon
be upon us, so you'll be able to find many kittens in every shelter
in another month or two. The good thing about getting
a kitten from a humane society is that they will have their
shots, and will get a spay/neuter certificate (I know our shelter
provides it with our kittens). (Our adult cats are neutered/spayed
prior to being put up for adoption.)
