| | As a FAHS volunteer, I second Pat's request for Taylor needing a
good home with very special people.

He is a beautiful cat, and every time I go to the shelter, there's
Taylor, looking at me pitifully from the inside of his pen, crying
    out for attention.

If you know of anyone looking for a cat to adopt, please send them
    our way.

| | If I know of someone, I will definitely send them to the FAHS.

Now what do I do? There is a cat named Holly in this notes file,
now there is a cat named Taylor. I guess I should feel honored
to be named after such wonderful feline friends.

    Holly Taylor

Holly, this is a sign from above -- this cat has *your* name on
    it!

How can you pass up the opportunity to have a cat that would be
    named Taylor Taylor?

(Also - I was asked if we currently have kittens: right now
we do not have little kittens - some young cats however. Kitten
season starts in about another 2 months. Right now we have two pregnant
females, one will deliver any day now, and those kittens will
be ready for adoption in about 8 weeks. Last year in the spring
we literally had dozens and dozens of kittens. So if it is a kitten
you want - want a couple months).

    Coming from Framingham:

Take Salem End Road from Framingham Center towards Southboro.
Salem End Rd. passes Macomber Farm on the left. Immediately
after passing Macomber Farm is an intersection with a branch going
to the right, one going to a hard left, but Salem End goes straight
ahead. Continue on Salem End for about 3 miles (it is a winding
road) eventually entering Soutbboro. Here the road changes its
nameto Oregon Road. Continue down Oregon Road (you will
pass the Oregon Club on the right) for a couple miles. You will
come to an intersection with a stop sign. Continue across the
interection and go about another 1/2 mile. The Southboro Boarding
Kennels is on the left side. Go inside and up the stairs.

Coming from Marlboro - Take Route 85 to Route 30. After crossing
over the reservoir take the first right (I believe it is Central
Street). This will bring you out to a Route 9 intersection.
Straight ahead on the other side of the road will be Farrell
Volvo, which is on the corner of Route 9 and Oak Hill Road. Go up
Oak Hill Road for about 2 miles. You will come to a "Dangerous
Intersection" sign where Oak Hill Road intersects with Oregon Road.
Turn right, and continue for about 1/2 mile. Southboro Boarding
    Kennels is on left.

Coming from Route 9 west (from Shrewsbury): Turn right at Farrell
Volvo onto Oadk Hill Road. Turn right at intersection of Oak Hill
and Oregon Road. Continue 1/2 mile. Southboro Boarding Kennel is
    on left.

| | I'm sorry - that should have read - "if it is a kitten you
want - WAIT a couple months".

| 1156.6 | The end of Taylor's saga | SKIF::CJOHNSON |  | Mon Mar 07 1988 08:56 | 18 |
| | My wife and I had just lost a cat that adopted US about 17 years
ago -- and Taylor sounded like the answer.

We went down to the Shelter on Thursday, but Taylor was not there.
He had been taken to the Vets -- we assumed for some work.

We left our name & address, with the hopes that we could see Taylor
at some other time over the weekend. We got a call back that Taylor
had to be 'put down' -- evidently the feeling was that he had suffered
some brain-damage, and that was shy he was so violently unpredictable.
Needless to say, it almost feels as if we have suffered another
    loss.

So, if anyone knows of an ungainly, double-pawed (on all four feet)
    blue-eyed (and cross-eyed) somewhat tabby-pointed Siamese -- let
us know. We need one badly.

| | Poor Taylor. I know the folks who have been caring for him, as
well as you both, are very sad. And our sympathies on the loss of your
    own cat.
