1014.0. "Seymour needs a home." by BUMBLE::HARTMAN (Cynthia Hartman) Tue Jan 05 1988 10:56

Due to my recent move and my new roomate's allergy, my wonderful cat needs to
find a new home. Seymour is used to playing outside and can't do so in our
new place (since it's RIGHT on a busy road). I was hoping he would adjust,
but he is very unhappy being cooped up in my new apartment without being able
to go outside. Therefore, Seymour is looking for a new loving home where he
can play outside for a couple hours a day and where he doesn't make people
sneeze. His resume follows.

If you are interested, please contact me on SPIDER::HARTMAN.

OBJECTIVE Seeking permanent living quarters where I can go
outside and where people will love me and scratch me
             under the chin.

EXPERIENCE

Constant Companion: Cynthia Hartman (July 1986 to present)

Brought home as a kitten. Learned to claw only a cheap plant stand rather
than expensive furniture. Of course this plant stand can come with me if
requested. I will be 2 years old in June. I am neutered and up-to-date on
my shots. All of my medical records are at the Marlboro Animal Hospital if
you want to check my references.

I have a very nice personality and am easy going. I do like to be held and
scratched often. Cynthia often makes fun of me because I purr so much. Once
I get my motor started, sometimes I forget to turn it off. Sometimes I sleep
for five hours straight purring the entire time.

I also like to "talk." If I am entering a room or am going to pounce on your
tummy, I will let you know by a tiny meow. I don't like people food and
therefore do not beg from the table. (I do like an occasional potato chip
though.) I do not get on counters or the table (I tried it a couple of times
and got smacked!).

    Cynthia,

That note was very creative! I loved his resume. I just wish
I had a place for him! I'm going to talk to a few friends, though.

What color is your adorable Seymour, and is he long- or short-haired?

How does he feel about other cats? How about dogs?

Sorry about the lack of details. Seymour is short-haired. He's
white with tan markings and has a REAL long tail (the vet even thought
    so).

I took him to my parents house (they have two cats and a dog) once
and after the initial greeting of a few hisses and spitting, they
got along pretty well (especially with the dog).

I'd love to place him where he has kitty companions!
