| No pussycat dolls on the top of the cake with you? How about itty
bitty pussycat paw prints up the side of the cake.....

WELLLLLLLLL I suppose if -
- the groom's tux doesn't fit, and
- the maid of honor sends her regrets at the last minute, and
- the bride trips over her own feet and falls on the way down
the isle, and
- the best man misplaces the rings, and
- everybody gets lost on the way to the reception from the church

I could say that I didn't have a wedding - I had a CATastrophy!

971.4 | Lot's of suggestions | 32096::BURLEW | Purr is my favorite sound! | Fri Dec 18 1987 17:36 | 25 |
| How about:
Paw prints on the napkins and wedding/reception invitations?
Shaping the groom's cake like a cat?
Having cat-tails (the plant) included in the flower arrangements at
the church or reception hall?
Having the band (or whatever) at the reception play "Memories" from
Cats as you and your new husband enter the reception hall?
Carrying a handkerchief with a cat embroidered on it?
Having the placecards at the reception shaped like cats?
Carrying a small stuffed animal (cat of course) in your bag?
I'm sure I can think of more if I really try. Actually, I'll ask
Serena and Sherlock for suggestions this weekend. -);

| Actually, if Holly were your puss, you could be married with her
draped across your shoulders. Just be sure to stroke her under
the chin at frequent intervals.
If your dress has a train, I'm sure a puss would be glad to settle
down on it, and get a free ride up the aisle :-) :-)

| RE: all
WOW! What *great* suggestions! Keep them comeing. I had a friend
over the weekend suggest Pussywillows as a boquet member. I love
the idea. Not only that, but they will be right in season, so they
won't be very expensive.

971.7 | take my picture | SAGE::PREVOST | JM Prevost | Wed Dec 23 1987 11:19 | 8 |
| I was in a wedding where the bride had several pictures of herself
taken with her kitty in her arms. They were taken at the home before
we all went to the church.
They came out great! Now they are treasured memories in her wedding
album.
Happy Holidays.

971.8 | Can I use that idea? | DISSRV::HTAYLOR | Fight malnutrition, GIMME CHOCOLATE! | Wed Dec 23 1987 12:32 | 5 |
| Now that sounds like a good idea. I may have some pictures taken
of me and my two cats when I get married next October. It sounds
wonderful!!

| Agreed. I was photographing a wedding earlier this year and the
bride requested a formal picture of her and her (equally gorgeous)
Persian.
I ended up printing one for myself!!
