    I have been contacted by Gerry Foss who is the animal rescue contact
    up in N.H. of a cat that she will be trying to locate to rescue.
    Anyone that reads canine is probably familiar with her name as she
    gets contacted mostly on dog cases.  Quite a few of us throughout
    this network have contact with her and are happy to post for her
    any rescue cases that she is working on.  This is the first feline
    one that I have heard of her.  Not much information at this time
    but the story goes that Gerry received a letter from a woman 3 towns
    away from where she is.  She is desperately looking for someone
    to help as at her house there is a stray.  A male cat with one blind
    eye.  That is the only description at this time.  The cat wants
    to be inside with the woman and her husband but they already have
    cats wall to wall and when they tried to do this the other's would
    not accept him.  The husband said this will not do so back out he
    went.  The woman contacted neighbors no one wants him.  She contacted
    her local shelter who said they could not do anything for her as
    the woman insisted the cat not be put to sleep.  The shelter gave
    her Gerry's address and that is how Gerry learnt of the cat.  The
    woman is concerned because of winter coming and cannot stand to
    see the poor thing outside.  The woman gave her name and address
    but neglected to give a phone number.  Gerry will try and get in
    contact with her somehow so their can be more info to be posted.

    If you should call and have to leave a message Gerry asks that you
    leave your name and number and she will get back to you.  Do not
    give the reason for calling as she is at work and they would not
    appreciate her sideline...........
