| So Buster has not found a home?

880.3 | BUSTER still available | DELNI::J_QUIGLEY | | Fri Nov 13 1987 13:33 | 5 |
| Buster has not found a home. After putting in the ad, I had second
thoughts because I couldn't part with him. However, he really is
not fond of our baby, so the final decision is that he must go --
but to someone who will take care of him.

| Is this maybe a variation on the introducing_a_new_cat into the
house scenario? Would the techniques discussed for dealing with
that help? (Extra love for Buster, cuddling him when you cuddle
the baby and so forth -- this was discussed at length in other notes
that you could find with the notes search command.)

880.5 | Equal attention | DELNI::J_QUIGLEY | | Fri Nov 13 1987 15:26 | 3 |
| I've tried the "equal attention" techniques. I had Buster 5 years
before the baby. The problem is obviously jealosy, but what cat
likes to have his tail pulled?

| Buster is being adopted by the author of Note 886 (the guy who needs
a mouser). He has performed most admirably in the past, so I'm
sure the mice had better say their prayers.
