877.1 | I have one, but you can't have it :^P (;^D) | BUSY::MAXMIS11 | | Mon Nov 09 1987 16:17 | 4 |
| Seriously, though, I got mine at a cat show. Havn't seen any in
local (eastern Mass) pet stores, though. My girls just *love* theirs.

MILES KIMBALL catalog has had them in the past, think they still
do. If you don't get one in the mail you must be one of the lucky
ones who is not on a junk mail list. I have one unused now but
am hoping my two kittens will take to it in their older age!!!

| I was browsing thru my October issue of House Beautiful and at the back
where the advertisements was a picture of a cat on a cat hammock -- I
think it was about $12.95 -- really cute too -- I didn't bring in the
advertisement but when I do, I'll post the address for any who may be
interested.

877.5 | hammock gotten | FIDDLE::HTAYLOR | Fight malnutrition, GIMME CHOCOLATE! | Mon Nov 23 1987 14:43 | 24 |
| I picked up the cat hammock last week at the marlboro cat show.
Tabbatha LOVES IT!! I put it together and just set it on the floor.
I then showed it to her just by placing her next to it. She
immediately crawled in and fell sound asleep! She looked so funny!
She was all sprawled out and it looked like she was thinking "AH!
This is the life!". Either that our she was wondering "WHAT did
I do to deserve this?"
Saturday, my sister brought her cat over to our house. Tabbatha
and Samantha fought for quite a while. Then we decided that they
were playing instead, so we let them play. Well, they finally got
tired out and decided that it was time to take a nap. Tabbatha
went strait to the Hammock and sprawled out and went to sleep.
Samantha looked at the hammock and couldn't figure out what it was!
She would touch Tabbatha with her paw but quickly jump away. She
finally got brave enough to try out the hammock for herself. She
climed in ever so slowly. Then she decided that she loved it!
She sprawled out right across it perpendicular to Tabbatha with
her head resting on Tabbatha's stomach. They looked so cute!!
Now I have got to get another one for Samantha!

So, if you can't wait for the hammocks, try there!
