    Tabbatha, my 7 week old kitten, seems to have finally settled in
    and is very content with owning me!  As I have mentioned before,
    we got her from the Sterling Animal shelter two weeks ago.  I am
    still not sure exactly how old she is, but I estimate about 7 weeks.
    
    When we first brought her home, I knew that she would be mainly
    my cat.  Now, my neice who lives with us doesn't like that idea
    very much, especially since I am getting the Korat in 3 more weeks
    (and counting!).  When we brought her home, I picked her up and
    petted her for a while.  She fell asleep in my lap.  
    
    Tabbatha is one of the cutest and most lovable kittens I have ever
    seen.  If she is not playing with you on the floor, she has got
    to be on your lap.  Her favorite thing to do is climb.  She will
    climb onto your shoulder as soon as you pick her up, and then cry
    because she can't get down.  
    
    Last night was when we finally realized that she was completely
    content with where she is living.  We had some company over last
    night and in order to avoid having Tabbatha try and climb up the
    person's leg in order to get to her lap, I picked up Tabbatha and
    held her.  As usual, Tabbatha climbed up on my shoulder.  she seemed
    to be very content there, watching the bird in his cage.  The next
    thing I knew, I felt a furry leg slowly falling down my back.  I
    looked up and found that she was sound asleep.  Talk about content!
    She looked so cute up there. 
    
    I guess that makes it official.  I am officially owned my one
    completely black kitten.
