I am getting ready to go on vacation for 10 glorious days, and I'm taking some time today to get a lot of "clean up" type stuff done. One of the things that I've been meaning to do for a long time is write a note thanking all of the Feline Noters for being the way they are. I read the Feline Notesfile avidly, although I haven't written very much (something I will rectify when I get back from vacation). I consider the Feline Notesfile my "warm, fuzzy" file; I always feel good after reading about the antics of those furry little creatures, and seeing how much everyone cares and tries to help when someone is having problems. The amount of love that emanates from this Notesfile could probably power the world, if we could find some way to harness and distribute it. Feline Noters, you have my heartfelt thanks and appreciation for being the way you are! Marleen (who is owned by five of those furry little creatures)

I've been thinking much the same thing for a long time now, and I'm
glad someone took the inititiative to write something... I just want to
add that in reading a few other notes files, I have been often
frustrated at the lack of courteousness and over-sensitivity displayed,
even to the point where it seems some are trying to pick a fight rather
than resolve an issue (a SIMPLE, INNOCUOUS issue). (And I'm not
speaking of the files that are created specifically for the purpose of
heated debate) So, I APPRECIATE this file, TOO! because everyone is
so thoughtful and courteous, not to mention full of personality and
charm!
Now of course, I haven't seen EVERY notes file in existance by any
means, but I sure like this one, and it's the only one I've decided
to participate in so far!!!
Judging from what I've read, I feel I would be perfectly comfortable
meeting or talking with each and every one of you in person, and
not hiding behind a computer terminal (which is why I decided to
be active in this file).
So, I think you're all terrific! (My kitties do too!)

Ten days, eh?? Well, not only are we all terrific, we're very prolific
notewriters! I wonder how may unseen you'll have when you log back
in...I was only gone 24 hours and there were 55! Enjoy your time
off and we'll try to keep it under !

I just want to say that Felines is the most informative notes file
for those who adore the the number one pet in the United States.
I have found many answers to my questions without having to call
the vet everytime.

I would like to express my thanks, too. This file has come in very
handy when there is a problem with my two. And I might add that
people who own cats and do not know how to go into Notes come to
me and ask me what FELINE Notes has to say about such problems.
But the one area that this file can be appreciated is when one of
our "baby's" passes away or is lost forever. It really helps when
one knows that there are other people out there who care and can
give good advice and sympathy.
