Note 583.12 asked for a posting of the Siamese breeder we got our
kitten from. I figured it deserved it's own note. Here it is:

Cranston is just outside of Providence on 95S.
This breeder is really special. Her cats want attention from anyone
who will give it, which is not your usual Siamese stereotype. Imagine
being decended upon by upwards of 20 cats all wanting to be petted
and held and scritched. Her lines have some Australian background,
so you get a slightly different bone structure (larger) in your adult
cats. Very sweet personality (the cats).

Thanks Bryan. I think that I may give them a call sometime this
summer and then drive down "just to take a look". I'm sure I'll
wind up coming home with a new kitty face!

I was at the vet last night and they had 8 six-week old kittens
waiting for homes. The sign said "ASK TO SEE US." no way!

Perhaps it would help to keep your head about you when you see
the little fur-faces if you would close your eyes, take a deep
breath (thru your nose) and vividly imagine a soiled litter box.
You also might use the chant "I don't need another one . . . I
don't need another one . .". This is what I'm doing since I have
just one little Abyssinian left and I am determined that I am not
going to keep her. It is tough, when you realize that you would
have to clean the litter box whether or not you keep the kitten,
and even though it is true that you DON"t need another one, you
didn't *NEED* the ones you already have, but you've got them anyhow!

I'd be interested in knowing if this breeder (LINRO) keeps strictly
to the Siamese standards, or has some "old fashioned" Siamese.
Please post any information in this file.
