    According to an Associated Press story out of Tokyo, today (22 FEB)
    was Japan's first annual Cat Day!  At the ceremony, a professor
    of English literature was quoted as saying that
    
    	"Cats are more than just pets.  They radiate serenity and 
    	are essential for the well being of humans."
    
    Apparently Switzerland has also had a Cat Day Festival.
    
    At the Japanese ceremony, special recognition was given to a cat
    that had travelled hundreds of miles to return to its humans.
    
    I am about to toast my cats:  they'll get some chicken, I'll have
    wine!
