Our cat needs a new home. She spent the summer outside, then decided to
move inside when the really cold weather came along. We have since dis-
covered that our daughter is allergic to her. She is about 1 year old.
She is in excellent health, has had all her shots, and had a flea dip
in mid-November. Personality-wise, she is somewhat shy, but she is very
gentle with our toddler. She is all black except for a lick of white on
her chest. I would like to see her go to a good home. If you are interest-
ed, please call me or send me mail. I work in Stow, MA, and live in Sterling.

| I also am allergic and have 5 cats and live in Sterling, Believe
it or not! My Vet told me to give the cats baths and keep them
very clean. He also said that the human body will start to adjust
to the allergy with moderated exposure. He was right, by bathing
the long haired cats(persians) once every two weeks and not allowing
them to sleep on my bed at night, I had minor allergy problems at
first and now they have gone away. I can hug and pet them now
with out any problems. I still cant let them sleep up by my face
at night. If you want the cat try it.
With 5 cats I couldn't live with another.

| I too had allergies to cats but over came them over the years.
If I hold them against my face, my skin becomes red and itchey,
but my eyes and nose do not water or itch.
