      I have available a beautiful 1 1/2 year old blue Maine Coon cat.
    He has been altered, is a purebred with papers, fluffy gray with
    white markings and "leg-warmers".  He is a very devoted, affectionate,
    playful cat.  He's great except for the fact that he can't get along
    at all with the other 4 cats that I have also. I've tried for well
    over a year to make it work, but I think he just too independant
    to live in a multi-cat household. He bites and fights with them
    and has caused some rather serious injuries. In a one-cat house-
    hold I have no doubt he would be the most loyal, devoted companion
    you could possibly ask for, becaue he is that way now, but he just
    cannot live with other cats. I have tried everything, but feel that
    maybe a new home situation would be safer for all.  This was indeed
    a very hard decision on my part, and I'm certainly not smiling while
    I'm sitting here writing this. I'm hoping someone out there is looking
    for that special love-cat and can provide a home where Smoky can
    be happier. He does well outside for periods of time, I usually
    let him out while I'm home, but not to stay for long. He can hunt
    well, too. 
    Price is negotiable, I am mainly interested in finding the right
    home for Smoky. If anyone is looking for a Maine Coon in a one-cat

    By any chance, did you get Smokey at Prettypuss?  He sounds just
    like Copernicus, who, I've just found out, is a snow-cat. He loves
    it! Romping around, chasing clumps that fall from trees, burrowing
    in it while in stalking mode, etc.  What I heard about Maine Coons
    is true!           - Chris

    Sounds exactly like my Tanque (pronounced Tank - as in Tanqueray
    & Tonic)  He is a 10 month old blue and white maine coon from 
    prettypuss (which by the way moved to Colorado Springs 8 months
    ago).  I didn't realize 'Copy' was grey and white too!  Always
    pictured him as a tiger like the first maine coon I met.
    (Actually sort of looks a little like a coon nowadays!)
    He has his littermate Killa - a black and white female to play
    with, and so far she holds her own in weight and in the mock
    battles they hold.
    They are really nice cats - for anyone contemplating adopting
    can recommend the breed (and the color scheme!)
