| | Well, it's been about two weeks so I am offically claiming her as
mine!!!!!!! I've decided to name her Alexandra (Alex for short).

P.S. Alex makes #5; Would someone please reassure me that I'm not
    crazy?

| | You are definitely not crazy - our 5th cat climbed down out of
a tree and into my arms last spring (see the saga of boots)
    Just love her a lot!!!!!!

| | What did your vet say, is she healthy, approx. how old, and the
BIGGY, what do the others think of her?

Best of luck with her, and keep telling her how luck she is to have
    a new Mom like you!

Not crazy, we have seven permanent residents (was 8 but a recent
death shook the family), and with kittens have had 17 + 3 boarder
cats for breeding. This doesn't count the semi attached neighborhood
    strays.

    Booth said it best
" one of these days I going to move to the country
and live in a house with 34 cats..."

" I've already got a start on the cats."

I forgot to ask how old (just when we got into see the vet, a dog
started having convultions and he was called out of the room a cople
of time so I forgot to ask). She was found to be very healthy (lukemia
free), but was suffering from malnutrition and worms (not surprizing).
The vet told me that he thot that she was a nice little cat.

Now that I've got her cleaned up quite a bit, she is beautiful.
As for integrating her into the famiely, well, at first she was
very possessive of me and hissed and growled at the other cats.
I think that part of the reason that she was acting so agressive
is because she was declawed and probably wanted to scare them off
before they did anything to her first. Right now, she is getting
along with the boys (Argus and C.L. Panther), but there seems to
be a bit of the problem with the girls. Alex and Pip are now on
sniffing terms (they actually touch noses sometimes in doing this).
Eirene, Panther's sweet little twin, is not happy with her and is
picking fights. I've been making a point of showing the girls a
    lot of extra attention.

| | No. You're not crazy (or at least you have company if you are).
Number 6 was dumped on our doorstep last summer and we had a temporary
7-10 for 6 weeks while we bottle raised some abandoned kittens from
the age of 5 days to 6 weeks. (They will placed in their homes
    just two weeks ago.)
