I have two kittens that need a loving environment.
Age is approx two months, sex is unknown as yet, one is all grey,
the other is grey with white "socks".
They are cute as all hell, but as we already have three cats, they
must go on the block.
Anyone wanting to enjoy an excellent kitty my contact me at:
CSSE32::FRAZIER
DTN:381-2811
PS: Price has been reduced from $10,000.00 each ( how much I like
them) to $0.00 each (market driven price).

Re sexing your kittens. it is fairly easy once you know what to
look for. Turn them over and check under the tail for the anus.
There will be a second opening either right next to the anus or
separated by a small space. Either O<> or O <> in the second case
you may be able to make out two small bumps between the two openings.
These bumps are testicles and the kitten is (of course) male. it
is easier to tell the difference the first time if you have one
of each for comparision but you can sex them soon after birth once
you are familiar with how they look.

...might not be foolproof, though. We got our two at the Humane
Society in Nashua. They gave them to us as two females - we
brought them to the vet, who told us "well, you've got *one*
female...." I'd expect the folks at the NHS have seen a lot
of kitties, and these were about 8-10 weeks old, so it seems
it is a bit difficult to tell unless you're a real expert.

thanks Mike -that's what I was trying to describe and you ddi it
better. It is hard to tell unless you look closely and even experts
can m k by being too quick in a particular case which
is what I suspect happened in the case of the kittens mentioned
in the previous note.
