  A small orange male kitten was recently brought into Jody's clinic after
  being hit by a car on the busy road nearby.  It had no serious injuries
  and no obvious owner, so it was placed in the clinic's cat adoption
  program.

  This is an absolutely *WONDERFUL* little cat!  When his cage is opened, he
  immediately jumps out onto a convenient shoulder and rides around purring.
  He's adventurous, gentle, and affectionate, and he's wasting his
  kittenhood sitting in a damn cage!

  There is, naturally, a caveat.  Jody's concerned because the kitten's
  breath smells bad.  A biopsy of his gums was taken today. If it turns up
  something treatable, it'll be taken care of.  It's a measure of how we
  feel about this cat that we're paying for the biopsy out of our own
  pockets, since that's not the sort of cost the clinic would want to
  swallow for an adoption cat.

  If I didn't already have three cats and a fiancee that says, "No way!" to
  any more, I'd adopt this cat in a minute.  Won't somebody out there please
  take him home and give him the love he deserves?
