70.0. "help a kitten!" by OLORIN::CLARISSA () Fri Feb 22 1985 00:09

A friend of mine has rescued a six month old kitten which was left on her
doorstep. She has taken it to the vet to get his shots and the vet says
he's healthy. Unfortunately, my friend already has three and really can't
handle a fourth in her apartment. The kitten is pure black except for a
small white dot, about the size of a fingerprint, on his chest and white
whiskers. He is very affectionate and gets along with the other cats in
the house. If there is anyone who can give this kitten a home please let
me know here or via mail (Bergil::Brown) and I'll give you my friends
name and number.

DAMN, I hoped you were in Australia so I would not be tempted. Have you found
anyone?

Steve,
You need no longer be tempted, unless something changes the kitten has found a
home. Of course, if you _want_ to be tempted I know of a vet who rescues cats
and tries to place them and he has two at the moment. One had to have his eye
repaired, the other was just a stray. If you want I can find his number.

No thanks. It is just that the kitten you described was a dead ringer for my
former cat.

I'd like to take it in but I got a new kitten
and do not really need another. Thanks anyway.
