| I hunt on a dairy farm in S. Woodstock, on a dirt road about 2 miles out of
Woodstock Center just past the VINS.
one day during the rifle season in November, a group of us were standing in the
road between the barn and the tractor garage when this Yuppie and his girlfriend
pull up in a BMW 700 series, arrogantly asking for directions to the Kedron
Inn... like it was our fault he was lost. While one of us was giving him
directions, one of the guys in our group (a real clown) was walking around the
car checking it out, and taking great pains to be noticed while he was doing it.
With the straightist face imagineable and the best Vermont drawl he could
muster, he walked up to the drivers window, leaned in and said "Is this one of
them thar new hundai's?"
the look of disgust on the drivers face was priceless... the farmer was roaring
as were the rest of us, as the yuppie drove off... Even his girlfriend was
laughing...
imagine his surprise when he ended up at the cole farm restuarant on rt 4 ;^)
