1653.0. "Sub report data dissappears when printing" by BLAKFT::KINGSLEY () Thu Apr 17 1997 11:41
I have a problem with data disappearing from the "preview" image when
the report is printed.
Access 2.0 on Windows 95.
10 Subreports on a Main report.
Each subreport is based on its own query. Basically this a summary
report that shows the top performer in each catagory. Catagories
are based on the same tables just cutting the data very differently.
Also each sub report only reports 1 or 2 lines back to the main. All
headings and footers have been set to not visible.
The Problem:
I go into print preview for this report and I see the data. If I
click see the second page when I return to the 1st page most of the
data dissappears. Same problem on printing. I see data in the
preview but most does not get printed.
This seems related to another problem with the same report.
Line 1
LIne 2 these are spaces properly.
Line 3 has twice as much space as between 1 and 2.
LIne 4 had twice as much space as between 2 and 3.
This grows up to line 7 such that line 8 is nicely spaced behind 7.
These appear related because the only lines left on the main report
when I print are Line 1 and Line 7. The rest disappear.
I'm confused as to what to try next.
Thanks,
Tim
