| I get the exact same error using the same version of Access on NT 4.0.

| Q139041 is the only TechNet article with this error, but doesn't look
at all like Report Wizard-ish at all to me.
seen a different error, which is documented in Q154140 -- error is "No
Current Record" and has to do with not having privs to touch a certain
registry entry.

| Well just this PM, I have also got the "No Current Record" error....
We called Microsoft and they thought it had to do with NT 4.0 Admin
privileges. Our technical people tried running Report/Forms Wizard
using full privileges and failed. In the AM, our tech support people
are going to load Access97 on another NT system to see if that works.
In the meantime I am reviewing note 1609.* about fooling around with
the registry.

1651.4 | You have applied the patch? | NSIC01::KLERK | Thunderbirds are Go | Sun Apr 13 1997 18:43 | 6 |

You do know there is a patch for Access 95 to run under NT4. It concerns
the replacement of one or two DLL files if I recall well. It's listed
somewhere in this notesfile. Search for "NT" in the notes titles...

1651.5 | Moved to Office 97 Pro | SUBSYS::TEECE | Ron Teece Storage PM&D Ops. | Mon Apr 14 1997 15:27 | 12 |
| -1 I saw note 1584, about new DLL's but they didn't address the wizard
problem. In any event we tested '97 on NT 4.0, and the wizards work.
So we are now up on Office 97 Pro, and I have converted my databases
with no problem's.
Thanks for the offline messages.
Wow! This Access 97 system is fast...I had one query using Access 7/95
that took 35 minutes to run (on a 200MHZ Pentium Pro) that now runs in
less than 1 minute.
