Hi, Does anyone know if notes 106, which talks abount signed numeric conversion into ACCESS was ever addressed by Micro-Soft, and if not does anyone know a work-around? Thanks, John

I don't think it ever made it into the product. You'll have to somehow convert the numbers yourself, e.g. import them as text and somehow convert those into true numbers. Or if possible have it done at the source rather than in Access. Theo | |||||

Hi Theo, Thanks for the reply. I've tried what you said, import them as text and convert. There appears to be no way to successfully convert them, I believe I've used every combination available in the ACCESS arsenal and came up empty. We will have to change it at the source which is always fun. John |
