1305.7 | Change input mask? | TOLKIN::ARSENAULT | Sun Feb 09 1997 18:54 | 9
I'm new to using Access. I've built a database and have entered quite a bit of data. Now I realized one of my imput mask doesn't work for some of the data I need to enter. How can I change it? Or eliminate it? Thanks for any help, Gina

Just remove the input mask. To replace it with something else depends on the data you already entered and whether that fits the mask. Otherwise try and duplicate the old table into a new one with the settings you do want. Theo

Thanks, I did try and replace it with someting else, but that didn't work. I didn't think to try putting the data into a new table. That might just work. I took the Intro class, and now I know why the teacher said you should really try to set it up right in the beginning, it was a lot easier than trying to change something later. 8-) Gina |
