Hi, I have a costumer which have some lpd queues that are printing to a HP 4M printer. The problem is: - On the VAX system with UCX 4.0 the printing is working fine. - On the Alpha system with UCX 4.1 the printing of the reports is generating the first page with less 1 line than the following pages. They are using a form created for the specific printer. The printcap entries for this printer are as follows: HP4M|hp4m:\ :lf=/SYS$COMMON/UCX_LPD/HP4M.LOG:\ :lp=HP4M:\ :rp=TEXT:\ :sd=/SYS$COMMON/UCX_LPD/HP4M: If someone as any idea please help me on this. Many thanks, Joao

Seen this as well. I think this problem was introduced in ECO 3 of UCX
V4.0, in the release notes of that ECO:
Problem:
When printing to remote LPD queue with /SETUP,
multiple line setup is all sent as a single line with
no line separators.
Solution:
After every setup module line read from the device
control library add LF to the stream.

CFS.36714
I have an IPMT open for this (CFS.51026).
Regards,
Oswald
