Hi, This question has been posted before but not really answered. Is there any way of disabling the LPD retrying message given when a job cannot be printed immediately? Disabling the service log options does not seem to work. This message disturbs users that are using menu/form based applications since they must constantly refresh their screen. (they do a lot of printing) Thanks, Mike

Hi, By default the /NoNotify parameter is used. I tried removing the REJECT flag from the log options on the LPD service. This stops logging the messages in the log file but does not stop the message from being displayed on the users screen. |
