Hi, My customer is having a problem with ftp'ing files with '*' as part of the filename. "The command I issue is FTP> get zrxt*zr777d02. zr777d.dat. If I issue the command FTP> view zrxt*zr777d02 I can view the file okay. This file transfer works okay on an old VAX8550 that is running Wollygong TCPIP. However I need to get rid of this machine Also as a test, we could make the file transfers from the unisys to a hp unix machine. The file transfer can also be done from the unisys machine to a pc running pathworks. It appears that the 7620 does not pass the * character as a delimiter to the unisys, but as a wild card. Can I turn off the wild carding for file transfers to the unisys (maybe by redefinig a logical)." We've also tried using PARSE, to no avail. UCX Version 4.1 pat8 Thanks in advance for your help/suggestions. Karen
