5512.0. "NT Workstation Access to NFS" by GEC013::OAKLEY () Wed May 14 1997 17:46
A customer has configured the NFS service on their
AlphaServer 1000 4/233, running VMS V6.1-1H2 and
UCX V3.3. They successfully accessed files on the
VMS system from their NT workstation for several
months. Following a recent reboot of the Alpha, they
are no longer able to see the NFS service. When it
worked they could see the service by double-clicking
"Network Neighborhood".
I logged into their Alpha and NFS appears properly
configured. From another VMS system in their network
I can mount a DNFSn: device and access files on the
Alpha.
Is there some other UCX/NFS component that needs to
be enabled for the NT station to see the service?
