Folks I have a problem with a customer over here in the UK. He is running UCX V3.3 on VMS V5.5-2h4. I know it is an old version, but the customer has a prior version support contract on his system. When his system gets to about 80 or so users, anymore subsequent telnet connections are refused with an insufficient resources message. Although his system can take more decnet connections. The customer has tried a number of autogens but to no avail. Can anyboy point me in the right direction. UCX is not something I usually suport, and I am struggling a little on this one. Steven, Do a "ucx show service telnet/full" and see if the Active or Peak users is at the Limit. If so then you need to do the following:- $ ucx disable service telnet $ ucx set service telnet/limit=x $ ucx enable service telnet Cheers, Geoff..

Re .0 & .1 Not only the service limit on telnet is important, read the following document, it will give you much more information : http://www-mcs.iso.dec.com/ucx_tuning.html Regards, Guy
