Hi,
I have a problem with a customer using the LPD client on UCX v4.1 ECO
4, VMS v6.2 where, on a regular basis (currently once/twice a day) a
job gets retained on error as follows:
3675 RGINPT PRODUCTION_R 4 Retained on error

Submitted 2-APR-1997 15:25:07.58 /CHAR=(2)
/FORM=PORTRAIT (stock=DEFAULT) /PRIORITY=100
File: _DSA14:[DETACHED_PROCESS]RGINPT.LIS;19833 /SETUP=(10_CPI)
Completed 2-APR-1997 15:25:10.25 on queue 051_07
All subsequently submitted jobs are also retained on error with the
error %RMS-E-ACC, ACP file access failed.
The log file for the outgoing queue shows the error:
%UCX-E-LPD_BADCMD, Bad command td_fA075bgis01_SOLAGLAS_CO.UK
-RMS-E-CRE, ACP file create failed
and little else. The directory size is currently 548 blocks although
the files have been deleted and the directory recreated several times
in the past with no effect on the frequency on the problem.
Any ideas?

Sorry, I forgot to mention that throughout this, the queue status
remains "idle". To get this working, the customer issues a STOP QUEUE
/RESET and restarts the queue, whereupon all retained jobs can be
released and newly submitted jobs print normally.
