| Is there save_sets available so that i can use vmsinstal?
This is the UCX 4.1 release for the Alpha system. You would use a
command of
$ PRODUCT INSTALL UCX /SOURCE=[]
The VAX/VMS kits would have .A extensions. I did a directory:
$ DIR LASSIE::UCX$KIT:*.%
Directory LASSIE::$3$DIA3:[UCX]
UCX041.A;1 2088/2088 24-JUL-1996 11:50:36.00
UCX041.B;1 9036/9036 24-JUL-1996 11:51:07.00
UCX041.C;1 3906/3908 24-JUL-1996 11:52:52.00
UCX041.D;1 4788/4788 24-JUL-1996 11:53:40.00
Total of 4 files, 19818/19820 blocks.

The syntax is "$ PRODUCT INSTALL UCX /SOURCE=location-of-kit"
You have defined /source to be the kit, not the directory of the kit.
The misleading error message has been fixed in a later verion of VMS.
