Ulyses,
The ECO's or the MUP kits are never on the CD's, only the plain kits
are distributed via the CDs, the ECO kits (or the MUP) kits are
available through the CSCs or on LASSIE::UCX$ECO:

| 1) I thought there was a CDROM subscription that contained all current
ECOs from TIMA.
2) I also thought that MUPs were indeed folded into the next regular
CDROM distribution. At least I think DEC STD 204 required that...

Is the UCX software distribution kit also not on CD's? I did get a
copy of 4.1 from the SSB KITS area.

Yes it is on the CD distribution, I never had problems to find the UCX
SSB kits on the latest CD distribution ... sometimes the Alpha versions
changed from name ... but otherwise no problems.

PROBLEM: An incomplete product kit for Digital TCP/IP Services V4.1A
for OpenVMS VAX (aka UCX) is shipping on the March '97
Software Products Library (CDROM consolidation).
This is a problem for a customer who does not have
the underlying base product, V4.1.
RESOLUTION/WORKAROUND: The base product kit, V4.1, must be installed
before the V4.1A upgrade can be installed. The new customer
may need help to locate the V4.1 kit.
Alternate sources for the V4.1 kit:
o The V4.1 kit ships with the OpenVMS VAX Operating System,
Version 7.1. It is on the same CDROM disc as the Operating
System binaries.
o Digital TCP/IP Services V4.1 kit is also available on disc 1
of the Digital NAS Version 8.1 Software CD. The kit can be
located in the: [NAS_PROD_SERVER.KIT] subdirectory under the
following filenames:
UCX041.%
o Subscribers to the Software Products Library for OpenVMS
VAX will also find the kit in the December, 1997 release.
NOTE: The OpenVMS Operating System Version 7.1 and
Digital NAS Version 8.1 ship with the March 1997
Software Products Library for OpenVMS VAX.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
A complete kit for this product will be shipped in the
June '97 Software Products Library for OpenVMS VAX.
There is not a problem with the V4.1A kit for OpenVMS Alpha.
