Any plans on adding an export flag to export a nfs filesystem as read
only?

Well, we MAP filesystems and EXPORT directory trees.
It is very much within reason to support this as an export option, but
we have not had much call for this, at least not in recent memory. A
formal enhancement request might do some good here, but not
instantaneously.

Actually, have a look at 1793.*, but I can tell you right off that it
needs at least a small correction to be correct and supported.
