5342.0. "Is NTP supported after all ?????" by PRIVAT::OTTO (getting better all the time) Mon Mar 17 1997 07:10

Hello,

I have two customers with different NTP problems.
What I have read in the documentation does not give me
a definitive answer or even an idea what the problems
are.

Since I did not find any mention of NTP in the SPD of
UCX 4.0 or UCX 4.1 nor any specification what
RFC / Version it is supposed to support etc..

I wonder whether it is formaly supported or not.

What happens if I open an IPMT against it ??

Thanks

It is supported.

I have had several IPMT's on NTP and these problems were all solved.

Then why is it not in the SPD - customers are wary of using features not
listed in the SPD...

NTP is in the 3.3 Release Notes as a new feature.
