5249.0. "Insufficient dynamic memory" by RULLE::LUNDEBORG () Thu Feb 20 1997 10:53
Hi! I have a customer who has problem with proxies in one of his
machines in his cluster. They are both runnig VAXVMS V6.2 and UCX V4.1
ECO 2 and he has 3000 proxies on each machine. On the one who is
failing everything looks fine when you start UCX, and it loads all
the proxies OK, but some of them will not be cached (not marked with D
with command show proxy). It's not always the same proxies which not
being cached. He also intermittent get problems if he tries to add more
proxies and he then got "insufficient dynamic memory" as errorcode.
All this sounds like some parameter is to small, the question is just
which. I've looked at NPAGEDYN and PAGEDYN as well as differences at
processqouta between the machines but I can't see where the problem
is. Has anyone a hint?
They are using separate systemdisks as well as sysuaffiles and proxy-
files (maybe this is the problem)
